| ABOUT THE SUNSHINE COAST |
The Sunshine Coast is located by car about one hour north of Brisbane and two hours north of the Gold Coast.
The Sunshine Coast begins at Caloundra, just one hour's drive north of Brisbane and extends to Cooloola, the gateway to Fraser Island. It takes in tranquil hinterland including the Glass House Mountains, Blackall Range, Noosa Hinterland and the Mary Valley; as well as more than 100 kilometres of beaches stretching through the coastal towns of Caloundra, Kawana, Mooloolaba, Maroochydore, Coolum Beach, Noosa and Rainbow Beach.
The Sunshine Coast is popular for its surf beaches and scenic towns set in the lush, green hinterlands, only a short drive from the coast. Popular places to visit include Noosa, Mooloolaba, Caloundra, and Eumundi markets on Saturdays.
